Crazy: The Median Age Of India’s Population Is 28 Years Old, Whereas The Median Age Of The Chinese Population Is Nearer 40 — Demographics Is Destiny 🤯
The United Nations projects that India has overtaken China to become the world’s most populous country.
That’s huge.
A great quote in the The Wall Street Journal:
“In many ways, India looks like China did 30 years ago.
It has a rapidly expanding working-age population, with 610 million people under age 25, and relatively few older people to care for.”
India will have a relatively young and productive workforce which should power the country's economic growth, unlike China.
Demographics is destiny.
